Holiday events in Bor county - August
- August 9-12 - Pioneers camp and Saran (Carp) cup
Brza Palanka - sports fishing at Brza Palanka.
- August 14-16 - The Golden Splasher of Djerdap
Tekija - is being organized since 1984. The events begin Thursday with the reception and accommodation of competitors, guests and sponsors. Friday and Saturday the contest is held together with an orchestra of winds, while Sunday is the departure guests, competitors and sponsors. The main attraction is the sheatfish fishing competition with the cluck (Friday and Saturday). There are also organized competitions on: over the sand (Thursday), pioneer football cup on the sand, children's carnival, the most beautiful garden, preparing the soup over, drinking beer. In the evening (2000-0400), for the present people, there will be evolving orchestra music and famous bandstand singers.
- August 20-23 - Regional swimming event
Negotin - The event was conceived as a presentation of attractive sports, with competition in pool games. Competitors from the region take part in this event.
- August 28 - Summer fair at Kladovo
Kladovo - dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. It celebrates every year on August 28 also when the summer fair of Kladovo is celebrated.- The last week-end of august - The Djerdap Cup
Donji Milanovac - International sailing regatta and state championship for veterans, in the laser class was held for the 32nd time in Donji Milanovac. This event lasts four days, of which the last two fall in the last weekend of August each year. The regatta consists of competition in the following classes: Fin, 470, Laser standard, Laser radial, Laser 4.7 and Optimist. The competition is held according to the Rules of the Regatta and each day there is always a certain number of races. The races last all four days, upon which prizes are awarded. National sailing clubs, together with sailing clubs from abroad take part at these competitions.
